Info on LEDs anyone?

I have been wanting to get a new fixture for my 75 gallon and I decided its time. Im only running a puny 4x54w and the colors and growth of the coral is quite depressing. I have done what research I can on LEDs but cant seem to find much. From what I have seen and read about them I really like them.

Is it the same watts/gallon ration as t5s and MH?
Do they need to be supplemented?
What size and/or how many LEDs should be used for a 75 gallon?
Where can I get them?!

I know a site where they sell good rband leds and for cheap. A led that goes for $400 they sell it for $200. If you want info talk to me

 

Agree on browsing through the threads in the RapidLED section. Are you trying to buy a complete fixture or are you willing to do a DIY build?

1) The watts/gallon is not like T5s and MHs, and varies depending on what LEDs you are considering.

2) They do not need to be supplemented if you do it right.

3) Size/amount for a 75 depends on what type of tank it is, plus what type of corals you are doing.

4) Depends on my first question. If you want to do a DIY, RapidLED is great.

Bumb....anyone know of some places with decent pricing, also if I wanted to buy the parts seperate and put them together could someone provide a list of what they think would be a good LED set?
