info on predatory tank

    i think its only uncooked shrimps. ive never done it, i feed silversides, krill, squid, and mysis/brine to any preds i get. ill get you some pics of the scorpionfish im getting tuesday when i get it ok? thatll give you an idea of something you could do. just try and remind me on monday or tuesday to get pics if you want to see them.

    You can feed any fish uncooked shrimp, clams, oysters, or any other totally RAW seafood. Don't feed cooked shrimp.

    For smaller fish, chop up pieces. For bigger and gigantic fish, cut it, but give the exoskeleton of the shrimp, or the shell of the bivalve.

    ok thank you for the info, Yea I kind of figured it was uncooked due to well it didn't sound right giving the kind of shrimp we eat to a mantis shrimp. But yea, I am pretty sure I am going with a mantis tank maybe. How big does the mantis tank need to be btw? Cause if it needs to be like less than 40 I might make it the display fuge and put it beneath the tank but I still was thinking about the damn angler or the yellow fuzzy dwarf lionfish I could get for 20 dollars. I will just have to hold out for now though :p

    since you have a 40 gallon id go all the way and get a peacock. that is a perfect size for one. they get 6-8 inches (i think, dont quote) but generally 30 gal is needed for them. just make this tank a display fuge, i love display fuges.
