I think I'm going to start getting into the SPS, I currently have
1 Acro, 2 Big Monti's. Is my light enough for them? I have two 14k 150 watt Pheonix MH bulbs, Two T5's 54 watt.

Yeah. You sound good as far as lighting goes. Mine have all been fairly easy going, not much added maintainance in comparison to softies. They could just get a little bit more touchy over your water parameters.

It really helps with the coloration and growth rate of most sps. There are some that are much less touchy, like pink and green birdsnests. I have both and they grow like weeds. I would start with some of those. Just make sure your Ca and Alk are where they need to be.

Alright, My Ca & Alk are always 450 & 10. I have it math'd out Ca & Alk goes down every 3 days Ca to 400 & Alk to 8, So when it is at them levels I dose both. Ca in the morning & Alk at night. I will look into a birdsnest, Right now I have a Greenish/Tanish Acro. Starting to grow lil "branches" :)

Edit- Just looked at your signature.

Yah far as lighting you should be good to go. I run a 150w 14k HQI and 2x 32w T5HO on my 46g I havent gotten any growth yet on my sps but they have only been in the tank a few weeks ... No RTN on my acro or anything. So its good

As far as it goes like norg said, keep your params stable and you should be good to go.

Make sure your mag is around 1300 that will help keep your Ca and Alk steadier.
