    Out of the house today, when I came home my new star fish (blue about 5 inches in diameter) was picked at by someone and the insides of the starfish were coming out (looked like a pink anemenie). Any suggestions, quarantine? Is she a goner?

    What kind of star? It may just be dying and rotting from the inside. Usually when this starts they are a goner.
