I picked ups some zoas for a friend. After bringing them to his place I ended up with some stowaways in my tank. They are doing better than expected!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Have you figured out what fish type you're going with?

Adding a fish is the last of my stock I'll add-if I do. I take way to hard when a fish dies.

    I hear ya.
Nothing wrong with corals and some simple inverts.
My last tank had two fish, an old clown and an older goby.

The black sand looks great. I think I'll copy that.

I love the black sand. Even though it's not seen here in South Florida-it's the only thing I'm deferring to that's not native-just because it makes the tank.

I haven't decided whether Ill have a Goby or a Blenny. I have a small tank and the last thing I would want is to stress the fish. Blenny's are more of my favorite of the two.

Nice little tank! I do like the black sand. Good going with the patience! I started with the BRS uncured rock and it seemed like forever for it to cycle. It will be worth the wait! I'll be doing a dive on Father's day with my son, can't wait! Hopefully it will quit raining and I'll have some good viz!
