    Purchased on wednesday.
He has been shy for about two days...staying in the back. coming out breifly..seems to have covered all the real estate ..But looked uninterested in eating any pods..this morning he is out in front and nibble'n away at the pods...I have alot...so it will hopefully give me time to get my fuge set up and propagating....you can see the pods everywhere in my tank by looking closely...they seem to be on everything....and everywhere.
Thanx for all the input....it only cost me another couple hundred bucks (fuge and materials) to get this fish....but I needed to go the next step with this hobby anyhow, and the fuge is needed..............I think I'll look into a UV next !
Later guys and gals.. TGIF to you all !!!

Yea definitely get a fuge - you'll be glad you did for the mandarin and for the tank in a whole. Keep watchin the little guy and maybe soon you will see him eating brine/mysid like mine does! They do take a few days to become totally acclimated as well so you may see its behavior change for the better in the next few days
    Later!
