I have used it and I agree with most of the above posts. If you maintain your parameters and make sure your calcium is in the normal range 420-450 the tank will produce all of the coraline that you could want. It just takes a little time.
Dont buy an urchin I have one that eats it like candy.

    Greetings one and all,
Thanx for all the input...I'll stay away from it. I do have about a third of my live rock with a real colorful array of purples. the rest has darker colors but looking closely I can see that it is beginning to change in hue.
going on 8 months now and have NOT used any chemical additives at all.....and have not lost ANY critters, verts or non verts....and did not introduce ANYTHING "live" except rock and crushed coral until it had cycled for 2 months....
Very familiar with "go slow and let it grow" for the past 3 months all I've done is monitor params, change water, document all activity/changes in my Aquarium journal and read lots 'o stuff...but I always like to get opinions from experts such as this forum...not too cool on getting scolded for asking though...but WTH...some people just have a different way of communicating....curiously enough though, I am a member of NHRA. (National Hot Rod Association) :p
Thanx again for ALL your input.

Have heard that it causes wide pH swings.
