Lol I know it. The LFS around here though is pretty disappointing when it comes to coral selection, so I'll be forced to order stuff online.

2in10s tanks is definitely sweet. As for me, SPS doesnt really interest me, and I doubt this tank will see any SPS. This will be a Softies/LPS tank with a couple nems eventually. My goal is to have a fully stocked softie/LPS tank shimmering under LED and moving with a vortech

    2 Month Update

Well its been 7.5 weeks since this tank got wet, so its the 2 month mark. Just shot a quick video of the new adds. The fish seem to be loving the new tank and the frags dont seem to be complaining either. Be sure to watch in HD ;D

Thanks exactly! And I agree, rapidled and vortech are right around the corner!!!!

I clean the glass umm....I mean....suuuuure I clean the glass.... LOL. I just got a mag cleaner like a week ago, I run it across the front every other day. Before that I didnt do much glass cleaning. I just bought a long handle scraper at the LFS yesterday so I'm gonna give it a good cleaning this weekend. I mainly get those stupid tiny feather dusters, or whatever the little tiny white spiral shaped tubes are that cover my glass.

The chaeto in the sump is...well its there. It's in a big clump, and it IS growing, but not at the rate that I think it should be, especially with the nitrates that are available to it. I think I need to experiment with different light bulbs.

Oh yeah, the video was right after I fed mysis. And I also wanted to point out how there is ZERO noise from the tank (cough cough, beananimal). Sorry I had something stuck in my throat :)

When I see the inside of the glass from the side, there is greenish algae film, I have to clean it every other day now. I like it clean.
What is the Nitrate level right now? Still detectable?

Last time I checked I beleive they were still 40ppm. That has been awhile ago, I just quit checking because they wouldnt go down any further. I suppose I could try a water change, I havent done a single water change on this tank since it was set up 2 months ago. The fish seem happy as can be, the 2 coral frags I added seem to be lovin the tank, and I dont have any problems with film algae or any nuisance algae. I actually kinda quit worrying about it honestly lol.

What do you use to clean your glass with?

Thank you for sharing the video with us, Insanespain65. I like your selection of fish. I still like the aquasacpe... ;)
