BOTTOM LINE INDEED! ;D

The H2O we use is DIUF (deionized ultra filtered) double dionized water. This is the water we use to make up solutions of buffers etc for cell and tissue culture use.
We also do lots of DNA recombination technology and RNA work as well.

Granted, our water is maintained by 'NOT THIS GUY', but I'll take a pic of our equipment in the autoclave room for a fun show.

Currently I get 50% of my water here and the other 50% from my LFS, whom I believe use Culligan? idk.

 

On a side note..... there was some experiment to see if atoms decay... well it had to be shielded from all radiation. So they dug this huge hole in rock way down deep. It was as tall as a four story building this chamber.... it was lined with a bunch of sensors.... well they used pure H2O....and I mean PURE H2O. Every now and then divers would have to go in and replace sensors..... the water was so clear, that the divers would get motion sickness because they thought they were floating in air. It disoriented them. I always thought that was cool.

 

That's the thing, I don't think it's in that article. I don't see it anywhere anyway.

I think that article amounts to an add for silica removing products...

Have you considered that my posting the article has accomplished exactly what it was intended to do? To spark an exchange of ideas and concepts (the intent of any forum) thereby we may learn. A forum is not supposed to become personal or a bully pulpit, although some will leave the confines of intelligence and civility, for the most part it seems there are those who truly wish to debate, reason and learn....I am one of those people.
