I received my ASM skimmer that I won in the referall contest yesterday and installed it this morning. I can't believe how simple these units are compared to my Berlin Classic. I had to do some modifications to mount the pump because it wouldn't fit into my sump if I mounted like the instructions say. I added about 5" of 1" tubing from the skimmer to the pump, I hope it doesn't effect the performance. I have a pic of it installed. Its only been operating for a few hours so no skimmate is being produced yet.

I'll have more updates in a few more days.

Thanks again to Darin at captivereefs, he is a very curtious person and has always been nice to deal with.

    Karma to Darin and captivereefs.

    Sean

I'll do a formal review once this thing has been running for a week or so, but I installed it Saturday morning and I wasn't getting any skimmate what so ever through Sunday night. I woke up this morning (Monday) and checked it and there is a ton of skimmate today. More then my Berlin ever produced. YEAH!
