I bought a deluxe MH lights from reef geek....everything came neatly packed but how the hell do i hookup the light to the ballast

The ballast doesnt look like the one in the picture...there are no wires coming out of it ....just plugs.

This is picture of the thing i ordred...see how the ballast has many wires

This is what i got in the mail. I need to hook up the black plug on the top right in the picture above to the ballast below

This is probably what i need..but the guy at home depot said he has no idea what those plugs are ...he's never seen it before

First he asked me if i was growing pot lol

You can add quick connects if you want ? or just look at the secondary wiring from ballast there should be a black white and green then look at the reflector wiring and connect them there . Or simply go to a Lowe's or any hardware shop and get a 20 amp 240 v male and female plug to use as the quick connects if you choose that route ? But the black to black white to white and grn to grn will also do..Good luck with that Icecrap stuff.

Blue wave and Galaxy ballasts are better, icecap is a good product, just not as good as the others that are the same $

There is no secondary wiring. There is no reflector wiring. THere is a crazy looking reflector plug. Then the adaptor for the plug with the black white and green wires like in the first picture.

did they not send you the wiring harness that goes to the end caps?

that is what it is starting to sound like

can you take a pic of the equipment you received then we can probably tell you how to hook it up, or if you got short changed by the mfg
