Need advice. My cs overflow has a bigger bulkhead than the old one so my flexible hose that runs to my sump doesn't fit over it. Hose opening is 1 3/8 but the end of bulkhead to attach is 1 9/16. What do I need to buy to fix

Some type of adapter, I'd bring what you can to the hardware/big box store and get what you'll need that works.

You might just want to replace the drain hose. I normally don't put my drains OVER the bulkheads, but I simply shove/twist the connector on the end of the drain hose (corrugated pool hose) into the bulkhead, and the pressure fit keeps it in place since there is no water pressure on a drain hose.

However, if you don't go that route, you'll want to get a slip-type hose barb that fits into your bulkhead and glue it in, then slip your drain hose over that, and add a hose clamp just to be sure it stays.

Alternatively, you can just get a short piece of PVC pipe (match the ID of your bulkhead to the pipe), glue it in and slip your drain hose over that (use a hose clamp over the hose).

Heating the end of the hose for about 15 secs in boiling (3 mins in a microwave) for 15 secs makes it easy to slip the hose over the fittings.
