I just picked up some Instant Ocean Cyclop-Eeze. I haven't used it yet and am wondering if anyone has and how they have used it. The package says to open the pack and squeeze out bit size pieces, I assume directly in to the tank. I may just mix it in with some tank water and frozen cubes. Any thoughts or comments?

never used that brand but I have used frozen cyclop-eeze before. My fish loved them especially wrasses.

Is it the gel stuff? If it is, that stuff is awful. Stays in gel form and caused lots of algae problems in my tank for a week. I will never buy any of their gel food again or recommend any of those products to another reefer.

It is the gel stuff. I just assumed it would break down. That is a bummer to know, thanks for the info.
