    Hi All,

I was doing some research on detritus eating worms...particularly spaghetti worms today. Basically I have these cool looking sweeper tentacles sticking out of my live rock and I wanted to identify them. Anyway, I ran across this article, and thought you all may enjoy it. Some of the information is pretty basic, but it goes into a good level of detail on the importance of bio-diversity in the break down of detritus in the ocean and in aquariums. It also gives good examples of the recycling of nutrients in an aquatic ecosystem..on fascinating stat in the article: "it has been estimated that an average pelagic copepod fecal pellet released near the surface of the ocean is eaten and re-eaten about eight times before it makes it to the ocean bottom."

Anyway, if you are bored, check it out. It's good reading.
