    You could add something like an snowflake eel or a hawkfish, both only eat small shrimp and very interesting to watch.

    The blue jaw trigger intrigued me. Will they eat shrimps, crabs, hermits?

    Mine has not touched a thing so far. I have a full clean-up crew, couple of cleaner shrimps, etc. Fully mixed reef just like you. He even lets the cleaners scrub him down. While most triggers naturally prey on fish and crustaceans, triggers from the family Xanthichthys (like the Blue Jaw, Cross Hatch, Sargassum) are planktivores in the wild, so our clean up crews and other creatures in the tank are not part of their natural diet.

    I bet that is because they come from the hawaii area so I presume less to get them in cali due to shipping and handeling charges.
