Intervention

I shopped again. It was horrible. I brought back 2 new corals, some fish food I didn't even need, a new book, and a shell for the hermit. I came home early from work just to stare at the tank. I think I have to pay the mortgage with a credit card. I can't remember when I last fed the dogs, and I haven't cooked dinner in a month. Come to think of it, I don't when I last saw my husband. I have a disease, I tell you.... reefilia tankilitis!!!

 

Unfortunately there is no cure, bryopsis and GHA have been known to help, but usually it passes. I myself am only limited by how much money I can dig up. I believe it is chronic

 

I feel ya bliss and we're all enablers ;D my hubby is in Denver? Phoenix?? I dunno.... I avoid his calls so I can stare at my tank and talk to you guys(j/k, he'd really kill me if he knew I said that)....pathetic at best............

 

My wife has threatened many times, then I asked who was gonna take care of my tank while I was gone. LMAO

 

Its sad , I walk in the house and the first thing I look at is the tank not the dog ,the mail , my family....:

 

I know how you all feel--I take out my magnifying glass and check out everything in hopes something new has popped up. Oh, and wait for when hubby goes out to sneak to the fish store. Who cares about dinner when you can stare at the tank!

 

Next, I'll have to bring the computer over to the tank so I never have to leave the room... I can't talk to my "support group" and feed my addiction all without ever having to leave the couch! This IS sick....

 

its the only addiction where going to meetings is contributing to the problem. But hey, we all admit we have a problem so we are on the road to recovery..... right?
