I started out with a budget that I thought was large (but hey, I'm worth it). Then I spent some time at the LFS and got some numbers that were twice my original budget but everyone knows that it's better (cheaper in the long run) to do things right the first time, right? Now I find myself thinking that as long as I'm planning a 6' tank, maybe I could find the space to go with an 8' tank instead. I still haven't gotten the first fish. I think I may have a problem.

They say that "You get what you pay for" so I'm thinking that this tank should come with a BMW.

Well if I had it to do all over again and was starting new, I could have saved soooooo much money not buying cheap equipment, not what I wanted to start with and so on and so forth, so yeah your better off to do it right the first time!!!!!!!!!!

What good would the BMW be? Would you actually prefer driving it to sitting in front of the tank? I think not. I guess you could sell it to feed the need. :)

I'm going to start a support group. Maybe a 12 step program-We can discuss our feelings, vent our frustrations, bemoan the fact that no one understands what it's like to be an addict- I'll call it 3reef!!
    1. Admit you have a problem
    2. Admit you are powerless
    3. Go to the LFS, get your fix of reef-porn
    4. Admit you are powerless
    5. Buy some new, cool gadget online that everyone is talking about that you are SURE you have to have, or your reef will implode
    6. Admit you are powerless
Sorry, I ran out of time- I have to get to the LFS before it closes....;D

lol my girlfriend is just as addicted as i am so when she runs to the lfs i drop what im doing and tag along as well 3-4 times a week but we only buy 1 or 2 things each trip no biggie right we also have to buy powerball tickets so we can fantasize about the tanks of our dreams and a bigger house custom built around the tanks..... we are all a sick bunch of individuals....it is probably more addicting than crack
