Does anybody put shades, etc. around their tank? My DT is in the room where I sleep and sometimes I'm up into the wee hours of the morning. I want to make sure my tank inhabitants are getting sufficient darkness. Any thoughts?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
No I do not think it's imperative either. I know my clownfish are dead asleep with the TV on at 10 pm.

Thank you guys. I was worried and didn't want to stress them out. Their owner is stressed out enough for all!

I agree, you'll be fine letting ambient light from TVs, computers, windows, etc. into the room where the tank is. No issues.
