ive been reading post on this forum for a while but decided to join after i read the article on the DIY overflow made out of PVC...

it works flawlessly, and it has survived two real power outrages without losing siphon...

i have to thank this group for that because number one i didnt want to drill my tank...and number two, i didnt want an overflow box because of the price...

    overall i saved atleast $150....

i have a 55 gal. with a 20 gallon regium under neath, and another aquaclear 110 refugium hooked to the main tank...

i currently have two tomato clowns, a couple green chromis, and an engineer goby...as well as numerous kinds of hermits, a few snails, one green crab, and one arrow crab in the 20 gal. 'sump'

the only problems ive had thus far have been with the stony corals...

i just cant seem to keep them alive, and too my knowledge all my water parameters are fine...

    anyone have any tips???
