Introduced pellets, skimmer going nuts

    Can't you; insn't there an water height adjustment on the skimmer?

    I often have to adjust mine slighlty every few days to get the right skim.

    What kind of pellets are they, and how many ml's did you start with? What kind of reactor? and how old is the tank?

    Just a word of caution, definitely keep your skimming running! You should have the output pretty close to the intake area of your skimmer...usually it's recommended that you start at 1/4 of the full dosage so taking some out may help with the skimmer problem.....

    I agree 100%.

    I would remove some and make sure you are tumbling the pellets very slowly. What is most likely happening is that your skimmer is reacting the amount of bacteria that is being produced on the pellets.

    Well, I left it be and skimmer calmed enough to keep the collection cup on. I'm predicting a full cup of very wet skim in a couple days.
