I put mine in like i do fish.. float em for a bit, then drip or do small water changes in the bag over an hour or so, then add them in. I have not lost one yet that way.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Snails I acclimate longer and I am not a fan of long acclimations.

Snails IME do react poorly to changes in SG and pH. I always acclimate, snails, shrimp and star fish longer than I do corals or fish.

To answer your question, you can add as many as you want at one time with cleanup crew, corals, and sessile inverts. Fish are your largest bioload and must be added slowly.

Also, no the CuC does not need to be QTed.

Honestly, every tank is different. Your best option is to go to reefcleaners.com and fill out the application about your system. They'll give you an estimate on what you should get.

yeah take your time with the snails, IMO 30-40 minutes. they are pretty sensitive to change, hermit not so much.

well, if i remember correctly, John Maloney from reefcleaners has on its instructions to just Temp acclimate and then just dump them in.
I believe it is because they are more sensitive to the Ammonia than they are to salinity swings.
