Any suggestions on the best critter to help keep the green film algae on my glass at bay. Ive tried turbo's but they only live a few months in my tropical tank. I have several nerite's and cerith's. What I really need is help cleaning in the corners. I don't mind cleaning the glass myself, but if there is a critter that could help I would not mind. The current tank mates are 2 pajama cards, 1 yellowtail damsel, 1 foxface rabbitfish ( I know it's to big for my 35, but I am going to a 120 in a few months.). Thanks in advance.

Would love to get some of those, but they require colder water. They only live about 6 months in a tropical tank. My tank runs around 78 degrees. The corals and fish I have are tropical and need the higher temp. Margarita snails need 72 degrees or less. The water temp of the Mexican waters where they live.

I would try a uv sterilizer and a refugium with algae. I have had months with nothing too scrub but pesty corraline algae. But for film inverts I would get a orange or burgandy linka star and acclimate it slowly after that they are fairly hardy and they knock over nothing in the tank.

How about trochus snails? Mine are like bulldozers. And they can right themselves if they ever fall:)
