Does anyone know of a eel that is fish and invert safe? Or is there even such a thing? I knnow that many people keep black and blue ribbon eels but i was needing something fairly easy to keep. any suggestions?

I don't really know that much about eels. But I do know they are partially blind, anything they can grab that will fit in there mouth is surely going "down the hatch". I would not risk any ornamental shrimps/crabs with them.

Shrimp don't stand a chance with most snowflakes. You may run into some here and there that don't bother them, but mine cleared out any shrimp and some hermits within about 24 hours. After it got used to my feeding schedule it seemed to lay off on the hermits, but any shrimp that went in were taken care of shortly.

my snowflake is nearly 3ft and so is my zebra eel and i feed the fish and then the bug guys come out so as long as i feed them when i feed the other fish and do it everyday then the eels keep to them selves its only when there is food in the water so get them used to being hand fed in a certain spot at a certain time and you should be fine they are pretty good when they arnt hungry :p
