Invert Suggestions

    Why not just make it a refugium? I'd just put some macro algae down there and save the inverts for the display or a species only tank.

    put peppermint shrimp or small shrimp that will make babies in there...the babies might become coral food...also sand fleas are cool and im sure they make babies too...shame face crabs are nasty things that look cool and are absolutely not reef safe, might eat something in your refug so i dunno

    I was thinking maybe stock it with shrimp like peppermints that never make it in the display and maybe sexy shrimp that would get lost in the display. Can't really afford lighting to make it a refugium. I'm trying to save up to convert my freshwater to a seahorse tank. Would the peppermints really mate? If they did would there be any chance for survival?
