Iodine dip

    Does an iodine dip kill apastia? My logic tells me no, bc if I would kill apastia it would kill the coral too. Just wondering if we are that lucky. I'm thinking about buying a frag from a fellow reefer here in houston and in the pic there's an apastia right next to the palys. Here's a pic to show how close it is. They called them purple death palys, the peice is almost center in the picture.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    No unfortunately it does not. Just some careful application of kalk paste, joes juice, lemon juice, boiling water any of those will kill it quickly.

    Very nice zoanthids.
