    as some may know, the iPad 2 was announced today. the release date should be the 11th... if I'm correct. I recently converted to apple, and was wondering if iPad owners would get a discount on the 2. I think they did that with the iPhone. does anyone know?

    Hey Steve, I'm like 99.9% sure there won't be a discount for current owners of the iPad. I would be suprised if they announced it, but pretty positive there isn't. I'm on the fence if I want to upgrade still, I may if I sell my iPad for the right price.

    Apple does never gives incentive type discounts. Especially since they have no problem selling their products at full retail. You can get student, teacher and military discounts.

    iPad 2 has 512. I had the first iPad, I enjoyed it. Sold it, got the iPhone on Verizon. I plan to order the iPad 2 to give it a shot, probably get one of the new MacBooks as well. I love anything Apple.

    A friend of mine sold his and his wifes iPads on eBay with decent ending prices. They are gonna upgrade them to iPad 2s.

    There is iMac 27", Macbook Pro 13", iPod Touch, and Im waiting on the Verizon iPhone (not upgrade eligible yet) in the household.

    I hate Apple stuff..

    There are some tips selling successfully on eBay:
    -Make sure you take and post the best pictures humanly possible.
    -Be honest. (About scratches and blemishes)
    -(very important) start the auction so it will end during the weekend evening time.
    -include original box.
