    Hey Everyone,

I hope you are well. I just got an iPhone a cople weeks ago and when I went to go on 3Reed it asked me if I wanted to load an app that was compatable with 3reef. Does anyone know what the app is? Is it worth downloading (think is costs a couple bucks) or does it really make not difference.

Let me know what you think.

3reef works fine on my ipod touch without whatever software you're mentioning. Don't see why you'd need it?

Hey, RemickJ--it might be tapatalk that your phone "told" you about. Here's a writeup by Matt.

We all have preferences, and frankly I'm with stonewilled above. I downloaded and used tapatalk, and find I like 3reef better without it on my iphone. Tapatalk is convenient and is more suited for a mobile platform, for example it autofits everything in the given screen, where by default the iphone doesn't--but I still like the iphone's Safari browser without any apps when it comes to this place. :)

    Hope that helps.

I did not download tapatalk... I like to be able to surf the site the same way that i would from my computer. its not like the site is slow or anything where the app would be exceptionally helpful anyways...

Right now I am replying from tapatalk.. It's a good app.. I have been using it for over a month and don't have any problems..the difference between using tapatalk and opening the forum with safari is that they stripped it down.. So if you are using the 3g network and worried about your bandwidth this is the way to go.. Or if you just want simplicity..

thanks for the replys. My issue is, and again I'm new to the iphone, I can't figure out how to make the text bigger when you are browsing web pages. I'll mess with 3 Reef a little more before I load it. It's only a couple a buck so it no big deal just wanted to see what you guys thought! K+ to all for your help.

If there's a method to enlarge text, other than the "reverse pinch" I don't know about it. :-/

you can tap the screen twice with three fingers to zoom. Or the way i use is to tap twice with one finger to auto-zoom to the size of the section you are reading. To have total control of the zoom function you can place two fingers in the center of the screen, then slide them towards opposite corners... it works the same in reverse to zoom back out then
