Anyone know of any good apps for the iPhone? It would be nice to have some information on-the-go!

There are apps for some controllers, but what specifically are you looking for?

Fish guides, tropical fish apps or anythig that would be useful to aquarium upkeep.

I've tried most that are out there, they are all lame. A business opportunity for someone willing to build a decent reef app.

those are cool but they cost so much money! Although it would be nice to have an app where if I was at the LFS and saw a coral or fish I wanted, I could just look it up and find more about it and what its needs are.

"Coral Magazine" has a free app that lets you read their magazine for free on your phone. It's a little hard on the eyes with my 3GS. I imagine on an iPhone 4 or even better, the iPad, it would look really good.
