So what's the middle color look like? Half and half?

 

cant find a good pic of them but yeah their orange begins to darken and the spots start to disappear

 

I had one of those yrs ago, my kids named him/her strawberry. If I remember correctly, they bury themselves in the sand when its time for bed time. Luna

 

RIP Toadstool

Went out of town for a few days and came home to my toadstool falling apart literally, the hermits were cleaning up what was left of it so for some reason it bit the dust, hadnt ever really opened up since I got it home from the LFS but all the params are normal so guess I just got a bum frag

 

Coris updates!

like I said in another thread my coris is beginning to change colors somewhat and darken up a lot here is a few update pics mainly of him but also of some other tank shots

crappy pic cause I forgot to put the camera into aquarium mode first and flash went off hehe

 

I can't wait to see him fully grown. And in the middle. This is a learning experience for me

 

well this week has really sucked, my Powder Blue, Flame Fin, 2 of my reef chromis, and both my Aussie B&W clowns are gone, cant find anything skewed in the parameters cept for a NO3 spike but I'm assuming thats due to the corpses being eaten in the tanks by the cleanup crew

Well on the positive side I've got plenty of space for new fish now. I'll probably wait a couple months then look into getting an Achilles like I've pretty much always wanted, the only survivors in the tank are 1 reef chromis, the coris wrasse and a scopas tang and the fat and happy cleanup crew

 

That sucks Iraf. I feel your pain though. I've recently lost all of my fish except for 2. Oodinium... Been doing this for 5 years and never ran into that problem...

 

That sucks buddy! I got oonidium from the same place as Kogle and I don't have a single fish in my tank right now... they all died so I feel your pain. Karma for a crappy situation!

Any idea why they all died?

 

i saw some white filmy stuff on the scopas so not sure if it was a sudden outbreak of ich or what, the inverts and corals are all looking great and acting perfectly normal the remaining fish seem like they dont have a care in the world cept the scopas he seems depressed, him and that tomini were never more than a couple inches apart from each other, the LFS I got the tomini from gave me the scopas cause they were buds and he didnt want to seperate them so I feel bad for him now
params are all normal and stuff, I ran a dose of melafix through the system for a day to see if there was a bacterial breakout and all it did was stink up my house, god that stuff reaks gotta do a water change in the next couple of days but I gotta get to the LFS to get the water since I dont have space for a ro/di here at the house and I dont wanna mess with it while there is snow on the ground
