not sure when I'll make more progress on it at this point honestly the sad thing is it isn't $ holding me up this time it's actually time. They set the date to induce my wife into labor for sept 29th, her millwork shop is building a bunch of stuff for the baby at the moment so it'll probably be another 2 weeks before they get to my stand which sucks but it keeps the wife off my @$$ and it's $500 I dont have to spend on a pre-fab stand made from MDF instead of real wood

Well, I hit an even bigger snag than the stand not being done. This snag is big, about 18'6" long and about 96" across hehe

I'd like one but the wife was wanting a pontoon, this was a really good compromise in my opinion, looks like it wont be a done deal till december/january though so maybe I'll end up setting up the 90g also, just not sure, the boat is a pretty big financial investment but one I've been wanting for a LONG time

Good thing is though some of the shelf rock I got is really nice, going to cure it up and replace some of the rock in my nano with it

    Omg i got new stuff

Ok, got a new DSA stand to match the tank since my wife's company got several jobs they bid on jobs that pay in the millions with 50+K profit each matter more than building my stand for some reason, man they need to get their priorities straight. Anyway I cleaned up my sump, added a peice of acrylic to change a partition around so I have a fuge in the same tank luckily it fit, only have about 1/8" on the front and back side for clearance, I've tested the sump for leaks 4x and it's been bone dry so I trust it again :)
Also picked up a oceanic plumbing kit just cause the wife doesnt trust me with saws and anything labeled as cement at the same time, anyway here is pics.

Tomorrow I'll get some guys to help me get the tank up on the stand and get it leveled out, I'll go pickup my rocks from storage and start cleaning them up to get them into the tank then I should have water in it in the next few days, barring the wife doesnt go into labor first since she's due any day now

You had better put up baby pics man. Big time. Nice looking stand. I like the side door. I was about to post something regarding the foolishness of placing a fuge in a situation where you could not get it out in case of leak.......but that little side door rocks. Keep on rockin' man. John.

yeah it actually has doors on both sides, if it didn't I'd have just tried to build it myself cause that was an absolute requirement since I'm working in a fairly tight space, not much fudge room around this tank unfortunatly

I have been thinking of a way to do that with mine. I think if I add a few more 2x4s on the side to frame out the door, I can do it without the whole tank coming down on me. Then I can fit a 30g in there no problem. Right now, I have a 20g long that I just made into a fuge of sorts. Two-thirds of it is needed to house all the pumps and the PS. The other third is a small place for algae. But it will do for now.
