originally I was going to do a 20L with a 5.5g Fuge on a stand and gravity fed, adding the divider into this one just kind of came to me, figured I didnt need a 8g compartment for a return pump :)

last night I got the bulkheads in and the durso/return in, need to pull the durso and cement it into the bulkhead though since it has a small drip

Going to try and go to home depot tonight and get all the plumbing supplies to get started, I need to build a manifold for all the reactors and some other stuff time is starting to catch up to me again which sucks

Looks good buddy. Why do you have a ball valve before the T? Luna

I like to shut down the entire drain to the sump for water changes and if I need to do any plumbing work I can just turn off the ball valve and shutdown the entire thing without messing with the fuge setup's flow rate. I'm waiting to plumb the return until my pump gets here, have a mag1800 inc :)

I'm going to try and build a manifold off it to run my calc reactor and po4 reactor so we'll see how that goes :p

PS: The 2nd ball valve on the drain is to create a small amount of back pressure to make sure there is enough water getting over to the fuge, wasn't sure how just using a T would work since gravity tends to want to force it all straight down if I can leave it wide open and get enough water over there I will but I figured it was good to be proactive instead of retroactive for once

dumb question, on the pvc > bulkhead seal should I use pvc cement or silicone?

Going to get this glued up in the next couple of days and I'll build the return setup when my pump shows up.

Hey Luna you're running the mag1800 also right? is it 3/4" or 1" output the 1200 I have is 3/4" is why I ask

Iraf, I'd use PVC cement on those joints. Also, the output on a mag18 is 3/4.

Looks good so far. Can't wait to see some water in it!!!
