Thats what I liked the open top I only whish that Tek had a 6 ft 8 lamp or a 3ft 8 lamp or more lamps with the 3 ft you just get 6 34 watt lamps ):

Longest T 5 is a Giesemann at 60" length and I would not use these lamps on a refugium :) I may well end up building myself a custom T 5 set when I get done with my leg operations once and for all and get this tank straightened out totally been a long yr plus and looks like at least another one coming up before I get back to walking again . Right now The tank can got to the dawgs :) I could care less if it involves walking and moving LOL

Just got in the Calc reactor, skimmer and a box of goodies I haven't opened yet, assuming it's my pump, heater, ph controller and phos reactor + media for ca and phos reactors

    Help!!

Ok, I'm having major issues with the reactors, blame me for always doing **** the hard way and using chemicals instead of reactors but I've never set these up before and the calc reactor instructions are about as vague as they can be

#1 the Phos reactor, I'm 100% sure I have it put together correctly, the only question on it is should I put a full container for the phos-ban in it or use the amount it says is needed for my size tank?

#2: MRC CR-1 Calc reactor, there is 3 barb fittings, it talks about a recirculating pump and a maxi-jet 1200 feed pump, where the hell do I hook up all the hoses? The only one I've figured out is the 1/8" off the micro-ball valve back into the fuge

You'll have to look at the internals on the reactor to decide which line is the feed line from the tank and which ones reciculate the water through the reactor. Is there also an effluent line that dumps water back into the tank or into a skimmer?

yeah the effluent line is a 1/8" that is recommended to be put into the refugium according to the directions

K, Talked to Tangster and got it all figured out, also got the return totally plumbed and the manifold built, the 1/2" hose is annoying the crap out of me but it all works

Ran out of time so I couldn't go pickup the water for it today, tomorrow I'm taking my concealled carry class so hopefully Monday I can get the 100 gallons I need delivered

wife has the camera with her so I'll get some up in the next few days, going to hit home depot/lowe's again tomorrow see if I can find some different 1/2" hose to feed the reactors with, this stuff is 5/8" outside and 1/2" inside it's just to stiff to be manageable in the stand
