    OK the worst is over here power is down , running on the generator for now, still pretty windy out.

    Finely got all services back. the back side of the storm had higher winds and did a little more damage.







    for the most part just a big mess to clean up. ;)
    tank is fine power was only out about 30 hours just ran a power head in each tank with the generator wile the frig was running.

    Glad to see all is well there. We JUST got power on here after losing it about 9:30 Saturday a.m. Thank goodness for the generator!

    And as far as power outages , for a tank of softies and lps the first 18 hours i did not run anything no air and no pumps of any kind, and only ran a power head in each tank the next day for 18 hours, and there was no loss of life in my tank. so my conclusion in a tank such as this i do not believe a day without power will kill things off in its self. but a long outage would call for some sort of intervention to keep it aerated.

    longest time i've been without power in my current resident was two winters ago for 6 days. the idea that it could happen again this year scares me for the safety of my tank, but realistically i think if I can keep the water aerated things should be fine for 48hours i'd assume without really hurting much
