    Hey guys,

Is it okay to have 1 clownfish by itself for about 5 days? I am only asking because my other clownfish is still in the store and won't be ready until next week.

I heard clownfish need to be in a pair or with an anemone.... is that true?

You're completely fine with a solo clown. I'd just try to make sure to get a second clown that is significantly smaller than the one you already have. Clowns live just fine and happy without a anemone. They host just about anything (other corals, powerheads, etc).

It's totally fine to have one clown. I have just one and he's super happy. But yours will be happy when his friend arrives! :)
