Ok, so my Dad and I have had our 140g tank set up for two weeks exactly with 65kg of uncured live rock (which we thought would be perfect for getting the cycle going). We tested the water with the results of:
Temp: 30.8°C (we still need to get a chiller)
    Ammonia: 0ppm
    Nitrite: 0ppm
    Nitrate: 10ppm
    pH: 8.0
    Phosphate: 0.25ppm
    Calcium: 400ppm
    Carbonate Hardness: 8dKH
Now we knew the end cycle should have just those results for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate but didn't think that a complete cycle was possible in just 2 weeks. Could it really have happened? And if so, will it be stable enough for a CUC to start getting introduced because I'm a bit worried the tank is still too "new" for them even though my Dad is wanting to start putting it in now. Thanks, hope someone can help. :)

If the rock was live when you got it and did not smell like something had died then it is possible.

Go slow with the CUC until you are positive the cycle is complete.

Hmmmm....It takes a while for the dead stuff in the rocks to "cure". I would wait another week or 2 and then re-test.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sounds to me like you can try a couple members of the CUC and see how they do.

I had a very similar experience with using uncured live rock to cycle my tanks. Right around the 2 week mark ammonia and nitrite were 0, nitrate around 5. As mentioned you should be fine to start a CUC. Just keep it small since you don't have much for them to eat.

you have some great advice here. I would give the uncured a little more time to make sure any die off is done occurring before adding anything other than some CUC

Although die-off might not yet be complete, your bacterial colonies have obviously grown large enough to handle the load. As already stated, you'll be fine with a minimal CuC. If parameters are still good in a couple more weeks, you should be able to add your first fish.

I had a 2 week cycle with using bio-spira that stuff really does work. Sure it's a bit pricey but it cycled within 2-3 weeks.
