Is a 50/50 light good for macro lighting?

    I have a ballast from my 10 that has a 50/50 light in it and was wondering if cactus, cheato and mangroves would grow under that?

    Use a 6500K bulb if it is not going to be a display fuge. If it is a display fuge then a 10000K bulb might look better.

    6500k will give you better growth out of the macro.
