    It's almost a necessity to go with a reef ready tank (drilled/overflow) on a corner tank. Usually you want it right up against the wall corner and there would be no room for hang over back filters, skimmers, etc.

    Pretty much. DIY drilling and overflows are a real pain in the hindquarters.
