is adding UV leds ok?

    id like to add some uv lights to make my coral pop id like it to add to my lights i have now. i have 2 led lamps that came with the tank. not sure what they are. they came with my evolve 4. any way i can do this?

    help me out if so!

    id DIY from start. so any help with that is nice. id probly get leds from radio shack.

    Radio shack doesn't sell the right LEDs. Buy them online. No, uv (actually violet, 410-425 nm LEDs) will not harm your corals. They are very beneficial.

    I dont really need them to be benificial. Just add color. But thanks! Ill give it a try. How many u think?
