is anything wrong??

I bought a foxface fish 3-4wks ago doing great the last two days this white/clear film has been coming off of it. is there anything to be worried about?? is this just him shedding so he can grow? he does seem in the past week alittle larger than when i got him. he is swimming and eating no problem there very active as usual.

 

I wouldnt worry about him as long as its eating and acting normal.

 

That's what i thought but wanted to know if anyone can id what was coming off??

 

I have read before sometimes they shed their slimecoat

 

can anyone confirm that it may be the stress coat as i did add a purple tang about the same time when i noticed the foxface starting to shed??

I have been told that it is their "venom" that gets shedded. I had a FF and he would do that once in a while. Luna

the vid was taken before my cleaning and also i'm missing 5 other b/g chromis, a few are stuck in my overflows they seem to love going over from time to time i still haven't gotten them out, you need to be in the right place at the right time kinda deal. also the tank is rather young been going 9 months. also my purple tang wasn't added yet, i should be mixing my water change water today and will be doing it tom night. so if i get some time i will shoot some more vid for the class
