    i had a real bad case of cyano on my sand bed that i could not get rid of. found this stuff in my LFS that was called Red Slime Remover(yellow powder). worked wonders, removed cyano in 2 days. good luck.

    That's where my cyano is the worst, this one section of the sand. Grrrr it's frustrating! I'm glad to see that you used a red slime remover and it worked. I'm scared to use something if I don't know anything about it, so hearing about it first hand is helpful. I'm thinking about using a chemical if my natural methods continue to fail.
