Is it bad?..

Is it bad that my wife just told me that she might be going into labor and I responded with; oh sh!t I may need to run over to petco to grab a fish feeder.. She didnt find it comforting...

 

Bad? Dunno. The best response in light of the upcoming event--probably not so much.

 

On our first child my wife woke up at 4 am telling me she thinks her water broke. At 8 am she tels me for sure it broke but we need to go to breakfast first because they won't let her eat nothing but those damn ice-chips and she was hungry. We saw some reef club friends at the restraunt and they asked what we were doing today. Of course the laughed when I replied, "having a baby!"

BTW, you tank will be fine without being fed. Go enjoy the birth of your child.

 

In a normal situation maybe, around here pretty much the norm.

 

Its our second so I am def more laid back this go around. First time it was at like 3am and we lived an hour and a half away from the hospital... As for the being fed I know theyll be fine I just couldnt pass up the chance to give her a hard time.. I had a friend once that called me to see how I was doing after my fiance and I split up. He was driving and I could hear his pregnant wife screaming in the background. I say; "Eddie whats the matter with Rebecca?" He says; "Oh shes in labor.... But seriously are you doing alright?" Hilarious.

 

Well another reefer entered the world today. Here's hoping she likes the tanks as much as my other daughter does!...

First time I read this I thought it was the first time she was telling you like op. My though was "aren't there obvious signs by that time?" I just woke up from a nap and am beat from working all day.

Nevermind I see op already knew his wife was pregnant... I'm going back to bed.
