is it bad?

i smoke hookah and im wondering if its bad to smoke by your tank? im not blowing it into the tank or anything. my lfs owners smoke all the time and its by our two huge sumps we have and it doesnt affect our livestock. so im just wondering if its bad or not and does anyone else smoke?

 

i dont think it would necessarily be good to smoke by the tank or where the smoke particules could get into the water. not sure how badly it would affect it tho. but if your fish start eyeing your bag of doritos , you know somes got in. paint fumes are detrimental too.

 

It can prevent your skimmer from working properly for a few hours.

 

i only smoke at my moms and i only have my mantis tank and i have my fan on in our living room so its a really big space and the window is open so the smoke blows out
and she better not try to eat my diritos or it will be a good fight!

I wouldn't do it just to be on the safe side.

 

i have enough ventalation. the smoke isnt goin anywhere near her tank plus its only temporary till i get a hookah lounge in my room for me and my friends which is downstairs and the tank is upstairs.
