So, I came home from school to find my anemone had moved behind a live rock and the rock had fallen over on the mouth of the anemone and the tentacles were all shriveled up. I picked the rock up and moved it and the mouth was HUGE and all the way open. It hasn't inflated and the feet are still stuck to the glass and the mouth is back to normal size, so my question is, Is it dead or not? I really don't want to peel it off the glass and ruin it so an advice could help.

I would attach a pic. but my camera sucks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If it is still attached just give some time. If it continues to look bad test for ammonia, if you start to see an upwards trend remove the anemone and do a water change. A dead anemone is usually floating around and not attached.

ok so being attached is probably good news?
if I do find out that it is ok, would it be bad to peel it off the back and relocate it? cause im doin some rock rearranging soon and the anemone has to be ot of the way

Do NOT move a stressed anemone. Follow Cheryl's advice.

There is a couple methods you can try to move the anemone, peeling has to be very slow and careful, that is what I would try last. Any damage and the anemone will not fare well.
For now I would leave it be and attempt to relocate later by using an ice cube or directing the flow at the foot.

I would wait for at least 2 weeks before doing anything to it (including pointing a power head at it) If its not ready to move, it won't. If it has decided not to move and you try to mess with it youll just kill it. Anemones can die fairly easy.

def dont mess with it..being attached is a good sign...without a pic its hard to tell you for sure

if it were my tank i would leave it unless it started to deteriorate..

also if you notice your tank getting a little cloudy, then its prolly about to die or did die..jme with what i have seen in friends tank

absolutely..never move a nem unless you absolutely have too, bc 9times out of 10 its not gonna stay where you moved it and go somewhere else and then you will have to do the same thing..

yesterday i had to redo my tank bc after a month my lta decides to move 4 inches and messed everything up..
