    Yep,  I do understand the problem, have a look on the web site and investigate the valve on the water intake suggestion :) I think it's probably more a case that the water flow is too high rather than too many bubbles :)

    Either that, or it just needs to run for a few days to settle in

    yes but in the meen time this meen what i cant turn on the bubles with out it over flowing so do i not turn on the air in take for a munth or let it over flow for a munth constantly emptying clere water from the over folw every 2 mints and what dose this meen for the fish hay fish youll have to put up with the force 20 huracain out let for a munth wile it settles even tho wen settled the out let of water will be the same ?

    o and as for the site and take a look at info on the air valve lol lol lol lol did that it went like this wen first set up the system set the air intake to 2 o cock for a couple of days lol lol lol
    dj dose this to see what would happen dj sets to 2 o clock stands back withing 1.5 secounds the lid blows off and a jet of bubbles goes all over the room the electric
    o sh** dj runs to power swich phu dj spends 1 hour drieing out the plugs and cables and dog lol
    so as for there info i guess they never tested it just made it up

    OK DJ, at least you are keeping a healthy sense of humour :)

    Just to make sure that I understand correctly, OK

    The water is flowing through the skimmer and into the tank at a great rate and that water is full of bubbles?

    The skimmer collection cup is filling quickly and overflowing?

    Is that correct?

    johno i just read you post again and you know i think you know more about there stuff than they do intake valve i get you i thought you ment air valve ill give that a go and post my disatar on here why the hell did they not say that in the instrutions or that numpty in the shop tell me this no mention of it any were just one thing bothers me tho bro if i use a shut of on the in take valve will this not put the pump under presher ? or noisey as a resolt can the pump with stand a negetave force like that i recon it will just stop pumping or brake from strain of force but ill give it a go johno hay that rimes also the intake pipe is plastic ie hard so im guessing i got to attach a flexy tube to it to clamp why the hell did they not just fit a reg on the pump muppets well if produceing foam is the key to skimers lol this ones a winer you just try and stop it its a monster lol ill keep posting with resolts watch this space thx again johno p.s why the hell do you need a frecking a level to keep a fish with a 3 secound memory lol

    yes john it is flowing in to the tank with air in it from the out let at a stuipd rate like it was desined for a olimpic swimimpool and yes the cop fills up in 1 secound if you even turn the air vavle on even just a tiney bit ????????

    just do it with care, you wouldn't want to void any warranties by cutting pipes etc. Have you considered contacting the manufacturers directly? BTW, I think I would stay away from the place where you bought it :)
