Does anyone know how much water movment i will need for a 120g tank? also is it cheaper to drill the tank yourself. Can anyone do it?or is it leave it to the pro's! Also the tank i was looking at was a freashwater tank with no overflow box could i guy just make a overflow box? by chance does anyone have bluprints to a cabinet stand for my project? I had a brainwave of putting the refugium on a rolling cabinet tray sugestions?
Any and all guidence would be welcome because i have you and the internet close by thanks a lot guys!

For a reef tank 30-40 times turnover per hour is good. The more the merrier within reason!! Drill the tank yourself, look up the DIY forums on here, many have done it themselves. Tangster has the expensive bit and everything if you want to send him a PM, he just had a baby so it might take a while to get a hold of him. He usually just has you pay for shipping and give him his word you will send it back. You can do a lot of things yourself in this hobby, just research the diy (do it yourself) topics here at 3reef.

For an example I have a 55 gal with:

    1 MJ 1200 with mod = 1600 gph
    1 filter = 300 gph
    1 skimmer = 500 gph (estimate)
    1 MJ 1200 = 300 gph

    1600+300+500+300=2400 gph
2400gph/55 gallons = 43.63 Total tank turnover per hour
