Well ever since we put on the new light we have had a green algea outburst from hell. The glass is getting covered with a light coat every 2 days, havent seen much change on the rocks just really the glass. Now around the same time i added a PVC spray bar and siphon tube for the can. filter. So im not sure if that might have something to do with. I used low VOC glue let it sit and dry for a week and rinsed it out about 30 times.

We did change from 45 watts to 192 total watts lighting.

Yep - totally normal! Just keep scraping for the time being and everything will come into check eventually. I noticed this happens more with t5's than MH for some reason - which lighting do you have BTW?

if you just added the upgraded lights and used the same lighting schedule, you'll see a bloom. lots of folks acclimate their new lights by starting with a small photo period and increasing it daily or so.

it will even out eventually. I clean my glass every other day to every 3 days.

I figured it would get bad but i usually cleaned every 5-6 days lol. I did change the schedule to about 2 hours less of 10k light though. So far the mushrooms are very happy, one about doubled in size.

Thanks guys just making sure it wasnt going through another cycle.
