Today i went and bought a couple of clip on fans to cool the tank. Ive run into soe problems. It doesnt fit under my light so i had to raise my 4x39 T5 HO Tek light. The fixture is uneven, but i will soon fix that problem.

I am just worried about my corals and clam not getting enough light.

Is there any other way that i can clip on the fan without it causing problems with my light

And sorry if this is in the wrong spot, wasnt to sure where to put it

Should be no problem, air barely degrades lighting. I have my T5HO light 7" above water level.

I would think that would be fine.

That's what we are for, to keep you from worrying when you are and to get you worrying when you aren't.

I think I'd be more worried about that fan falling into the tank,if possible it might be good to clip it to something outside the tank and just direct the air across the water surface.

i have thought about that but i dont think there's any way to clip it to the outside of the tank. What ive got on the tank is my egg crate lid, i hope that will block the fan from falling into the tank
