So I was fragging some of my xenia today, and after I was done I saw a small piece that was cut off on the sand bed...I guess I missed it.....It might be kind of hard to get, but if it is neccasary I can get it. Can I just leave it or should I take it out? Thanks!

Just leave it...It will fload around until it stops and takes hold of a rock...My kenya tree drops babies every other day and they just float around until they connect to a rock.

If you are trying to contain it in a certain part of the tank I would try and remove it as I believe a little piece can attach to a rock and start regrowing.

The problem is tha it is in a "dead spot" just sitting there on the sand bed. Should/could I still just leave it?

Will definitely attach to a rock at some point and will start to grow like a weed. If that is what you want then good, if not, you may want to remove it.

I have an entire "farm" of them on the upper corner of my tank. If it does attach to a rock I will just cut it and take it out. I am asking if there is any danger if/when it decays. Or is it too small to do anything
    Thanks

I personally don't think there is any danger in leaving it, but if you are worried about you you might try and syphon it out, may be easier than reaching in and trying to get it.

    Good idea
I think I am going to leave it there for tonight then if it is still there tomorrow take it out. If it is not there that probably means it will just grow on a rock eventually.
Thanks for all of the help everyone!
