+1 on believing rubber bands being OK

They hold a number of softie frags to rocks in many reef set ups including mine on occasions

I use rubber bands, but mine seem to fall apart after a couple weeks.

Yip should be no prob..I use them for holding seaweed salad to a rock for my tang and coral beauty..but they will snap if left in for long periods..

rubber bands are fine to use but in salt water they will dry out quickly and become brittle and break easily. if you want something more permanant then you can use fishing line

I'm banking on the rubber band breaking to hold some of the sofies down... But staying on long enough until they can attatch themselves to the rock work
