    stormatella shells are definatley calcerous, not pliable.....def an oxynoe.

    I think I forgot to mention that I am not a very good artist, or should I say I tend towards the caricature type of non-artistry. It definitely has a shell so it is a stomatella and I can't draw for beans...interesting that I drew a seaslug though...and added a shell onto him!!

    BTW you guys and gals are great..I really appreciate the response. Being a newbie it's nice to have back-up. I don't need any nasty hitchikers in my reef!!

    they have calcerous shells you said it was fleshy.....

    wait...i just remebered that there are a few species that do have thier shells imbedded into the mantle. I just relized im defending my perception of a drawing.... [smiley=drool.gif].....bordom might lead to jail time if it wasnt for 3reef! ;D
